    It is the 31st July 2025. This morning the news is full of angry people who are unable to go on holiday due to an air traffic control failure. Amazing. Next officials are talking about expanding Heathrow airport. I’m stunned. Last week the news concerned itself with falling birth rates. Extraordinary. In 1976 I was concerned about our environment.
